Medical Sales and Application Specialist

Job description:

As Soteria’s Medical Sales & Application Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success and clinical adoption of Soteria’s innovative MRI-guided solutions. Your focus will be on sales growth, customer engagement, and on-site support — ensuring each installation not only succeeds clinically but also leads to further business opportunities.

Starting with Soteria’s Remote Controlled Manipulator (RCM) for MRI-guided prostate interventions, you will work at the intersection of sales, clinical application, and customer success.

You will proactively identify, approach, and follow up with potential customers (e.g. radiologists, urologists, hospital administrators) to grow market presence and generate new leads and support Soteria’s distributors and sales partners in ongoing projects, demonstrations, and tenders.

Representing Soteria at conferences, workshops, and site visits to promote the RCM and upcoming TP (transperineal) product line will also be part of the responsibilities.

A secondary responsibility will be post-sales installation and training of Soteria’s products. The main task here is to ensure the customer (e.g. Radiologist, Technician, Operator) is properly trained and capable of using the system in their daily clinical practice.

You will primarily perform on-site training in Europe (and occasionally outside Europe) and therefore will be travelling 50-70% of the time. You will be closely working with the customers to teach them the use of the system in clinical practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for training customers and installation of our systems
  • Perform demonstrations and provide (remote) customer training and support.
  • Customer support after training and follow up.
  • Participate in the implementation of new products.
  • Supporting sales with trade shows and seminars.
  • Attend and provide assistance with trade show and conference activities.
  • Involvement in sales process with potential customers, customers and distributors.
  • The role will include training of customer, sales, either internally or at the customer site and attend international meetings as required.

Why you should join Soteria:

Soteria is a young company with a small, motivated team – in which teamwork is the key to success. We are a growing company, which will allow growth potential for you as well. Despite being a young company, Soteria is already active in many international markets. You will be working with customers and distributors all over Europe and potentially also in other regions while we are currently expanding to the US and Asian markets.

Since Soteria constantly develops new products, you will provide valuable feedback from customers and users on our existing products as input for future developments as well as being closely involved in the implementation of these products in the market.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the field of medical imaging/MBRT)
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical working experience with MRI (preferably image guided interventions)
