Assembly Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Assembly Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components of our robotic system, ensuring that each step is conducted according to our ISO 13485 quality management system. Accurate documentation and component testing during assembly are critical to the overall functionality and performance of the system.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling fine mechanical parts with precision, focusing on high-quality plastic components.
  • Conducting tests on individual components and performing final system-level testing before product release.
  • Performing yearly maintenance and servicing of installed systems based on service agreements, including the replacement of components and system documentation.
  • Occasionally performing on-site follow-up visits to inspect the control unit and optional components.

Requirements / Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Education:
    • LBO/MBO level in mechanical engineering, with a focus on fine mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience:
    • Hands-on experience with fine mechanical parts and assemblies.
    • Familiarity with ISO guidelines and documentation is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions with high accuracy.
    • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Good social and communication skills.
    • Ability to repair and maintain assembled equipment according to engineering specifications.
  • Additional Preference:
    • Basic understanding of electronics is preferred.
